I say do It. Its unique. Brinner is a fabulous meal 🙂 also, mimosas and bloody Mary’s?  My only advice would be to make sure it is done right – menu, taste and presentation. Skimping or trying to hire a cheap caterer to do something so different won’t be worth the money saved if it doesn’t work.

I just went to a wedding in December that served burgers and fries because that was their favorite, and it worked because it a little upscale so it didn’t have a bbq or fast food feel to it.

That sounds amazing and I would be totally stoked to come to a wedding and find that for the menu!

Do it! I’ve always wanted a breakfast wedding, so I think it is a great idea. There’s no way it won’t be a hit 🙂

I personally prefer dinner food for dinner. I would be dissapointed to find chicken and waffle for my dinner, and no cake is quite a bummer too. BUT breakfast is not my thing. I usually skip it. And you sound super excited so I felt bad saying this but Im sure you want an honest opinion. Its unique though, I agree with the PP that you have to make sure it to be done right.

ja5mn3:  Love it.  Breakfast food is awesome.  I mean good breakfast food, I eat Fiber One every morning, I think that stuff is literally cardboard from recycled Fiber One boxes.  But what you named sounds fantastic.

If someone doesn’t like it that’s ok, personally I hate dry chicken breast, congealed mashed potatoes and three carrots for dinner but that’s never stopped anyone from serving it at their wedding.

I would love chicken and waffles! I’m not so much a fan of your “dessert” options…maybe muffins, like banana nut, blueberry, and chocolate chip would be better?

ja5mn3:  The menu sounds delicious but I would think carefully about getting married on a Wednesday. What time would your wedding start? Six o’clock? Keep in mind that most people will not take off work for this, which means they won’t stay out late.

Personally I want my wedding day not my wedding night.

ja5mn3:  sounds fun! And breakfast for dinner is always good, but please don’t skip the cake! It’s what everyone like about weddings! Lol

This sounds so fun and delicious! There is nothing I love more than bacon the day after drinking except bacon while drinking. I’d go to your wedding in a heartbeat!

I originally was thinking of breakfast for dinner but changed it to brunch. Im super excited about it. We are doing a french style brunch & are getting married on a Friday afternoon. We are having just family & very close friends most of which are retired but we have discussed time with the few that arent & they are good with it.

You should for sure go with this idea! Ive gotten so much positive feedback about mine. Its something different which is a nice change.

Love it!! As long as there’s food I’m there to be honest but the menu sounds good. I would need a cup of tea to wash that down xx
