My best friend and I went and saw BD2 today. I thought they did a great job wrapping everything up. I didn’t really like the CGI but I tend to be a harsh critic on that. Darling Husband is obsessed with Alice (I can’t complain much since I looked like her when we first started dating!) and I love Jasper, Emmett, and Jacob (totally forgot Jacob’s name for a second, I kept wanting to call him Taylor 😉

Buffy still wins as my favorite vampire show, hands down. I even have a Buffy tattoo. I also watch the Vampire Diaries. Basically, I am a teenage girl trapped in the body of a 30 year old.

I used to love Buffy too (my favorite episode is the one where their voices get stolen, those guys were totally creepy!)

As for Twilight, loved the books, really like the movies but not a fan of KStew. And I couldn’t stand the CGI in the last movie. They tried too hard since they had a bigger budget. Of all the movies my favorite was probably BDP1 since I loved their wedding (duh) and who wouldn’t want to have ridiculous bed-breaking sex like that Wink haha

I’m glad they’re done. Now maybe we can move on to movies that are actually worth paying 9 bucks to see.

I love Twilight! I haven’t seen this movie yet. I kind of took a stand against it when I heard it was going to be shown at 10pm instead of midnight because I saw all of them at midnight. Instead I’m going today or tomorrow depending on when my Darling Husband get’s home tonight because he wants to go too.

However these are not my favorite vampires. My favorite vampire is Lestat played by Stuart Townsend!!

    Are you me? LOL!

OP: I have yet to see BDP2, but I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m sad it’s done. I usually take Dirty Delete to see the movies with me, so it’s part of our Mommy/daughter bonding time. She loves it just as much as I do.

We also watch Buffy, and TVD… True Blood is my fave, though (DD doesn’t watch that one, lol).

@HappilyEverAfter54:  Haha, I have a soft-spot for the Tom Cruise Lestat. It always bugged the shit out of me that Stuart Townsend wasn’t blonde or blue-eyed.

Done and glad. Hopefully the Twilight obssession will go away now so I don’t have to be subjected to Kristen Stewart’s terrible acting in any more movies because people are trying to cash in on the craze.

@zippylef:  I just liked him because he’s a hot vampire rockstar. I also have this strong hatred for Tom Cruise otherwise I’d really have loved Interview with the Vampire too. I think in general I like Anne Rice vampires better than Stephenie Meyer vampires. I like True Blood vampires better  than Twilight vamps too.

@HappilyEverAfter54:  Yeah, Tom Cruise kind of makes me nauseous now. He’s so nuts. I like both Anne Rice and True Blood vamps better too.

@PinkAndPearls2013:  Agree KStew ruins the movies for me. She is SUCH an awful actress and even though Bella isn’t the most complicated character, she just couldn’t pull it off IMO.

Considering I hate the last book (with a burning passion, as in I threw it across the room when I finished it and it really cooled my love for the series), I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the fake me out fight scene, in fact, it that was the way the book REALLY ended, I would have liked it infinitely more.

Overall though, I walked out of the theater and was happy with this movie. I liked how they had the fake-me out fight scene, I was wondering how they would make this movie have much of a plot with no action scenes, and they brought it in in a really good way that stilled stayed true to the books.

(But I still wish they had a real battle in the book!)
