If it worked for the royal wedding… it is timeless, classic

I actually read somewhere (whether it is true or not I don’t know) that the idea of having a bridal party came from the middle ages where they would have several ladies and gents dressed just as ornately as the bride and groom so that evil spirits would have a harder time figuring out who was the bride and groom and couldn’t curse them. So on that basis – a good idea to have you all in white!

I really like it, classic.

Ooooh, I think it’s pretty and classy! Go for it. It’s not like anyone is really going to confuse anyone else for the bride.

Beautiful picture. Your three relationships look very good. I have no such closing maids. Well, I still wanna be the only shinning bride in my wedding.

Why the hell not?

As the PP said, before it was traditional for a bride to wear white, it was traditional for the bride and bridesmaids to wear the same thing. I assume that’s why it’s still traditional for the groom and groomsmen to wear the same thing.

It would make for some stunning photos, I think. So why not?

I love the all white trend! My BFF did it for her wedding last year and it looked amazing. It’s so classy and fresh.

love it!  My sister us in white at her 1997/1998 wedding, and it was gorgeous and very timeless for a 90s wedding.  She was married in front of a large blue building, with all white flowers, and it was beautiful.  go for it!

Im having ivory bridesmaids…and my dress is ivory lace with beige underneath..so my bridesmaids will probably look “whiter” than me!! I love the classic look! I would just be sure to have a different dress than the bridesmaids…it doesnt have to be a different colour.  I just made the bridesmaids dress a bit simpler…a classic plain strapless dress..mine is lace with a lot of bling! I did this not because they can be like me but so that in pictures, I look different.  If someone at your wedding doesnt know who the bride is, than I think that person should not be at your wedding!

Why does weddingbee show that you uploaded a post of your cathedral veil to a gallery today? That picture is a girl I know from Laurel, MS, who got married 2 years ago!
