netflixandchill :  avoid over cleansing – that could just make it worse

I’ve always been told teatree oil is good to prevent post waxing breakouts but I wouldn’t want to try anything new this close to the wedding if you have sensitive skin.

I would use something with salicylic acid.

I used to have this problem EVERY time… its so annoying! What solved it for me was not using the after wax cooling gel, but instead using Seacret toner. It sounds weird, but it works amazingly well. I will still wash my face like normal, but for the first 4 days i wont put moisturizer on the freshly waxed skin and will use the toner instead. I havent tried any other toners besides Seacret, but this stuff is gentle and makes my skin feel awesome. give it a whirl!

Tend Skin works wonders.

Another vote for Tend Skin. I used to get horrible ingrown hairs when I waxed, but Tend Skin seemed to help. I think you can find it at most drugstores!

I have no suggestions, because I have this too, and I havent found much else that helps. This is why I started threading my face!

I would just avoid anything too aggressive, even though you think it might help more. Anything too exfolating/drying/etc.
