I had my nipples pierced a couple times as a teenager too…smart days.

I had 0 problem with breastfeeding. It was super easy..baby had no latching issues.

Before I got mine done, I researched about breastfeeding (I was about 17 at the time, but I was at least switched on enough to cover all my bases, LOL!). The general consensus was that it wasn’t a problem.

In fact, I plan to get my nipple redone soon… I only took it out because it was migrating, and I want to have it redone behind the scar tissue.

I researched before I had mine done and it seems like it doesn’t cause any issues. I’ll find out for myself sometime in the next 3 weeks (hurry up baby)!  I’ll try to come back and update, but who knows where my oxytocin filled sleep deprived mind will be!

No problems bf for me! I have had both mine pierced twice and removed the piercings several years ago. Both times I had the piercings I had minor issues– first they didnt heal well so I removed them as I was tired of the irritation after a year and a half. The second time I removed them after 2 years due to the left side growing too shallow.

There is some scar tissue on both sides but I have absolutely no issues breast feeding because of this.
