giaf1 :  I didn’t breastfeed until Dear Daughter was 1 month old and now she does!! ๐Ÿ˜‰ so read on!

I know the feeling, I know the want to Boyfriend or Best Friend, the guilt… My hospital didn’t have a lactation consultant and after a barely “natural” birth me and Dear Daughter were too drugged to Boyfriend or Best Friend :(((

The first month home was messy……… so let’s just forget about it. But I had to bottle feed.

2nd month I started trying. I did it the easy way. (The hard fast way is pumping, a lot!!) Mostly every time I gave her a bottle (when it was cooling down) I would put her on the boob. She screamed!!! You try one boob and then the other. Then you give the bottle.

After a bit she started sucking ๐Ÿ™‚ one small suck! After a few times it becomes 2 sucks!!! And then it ssslllooowwwlllyyy starts becoming more. It took a whole month for her to start refusing the bottle and want to EBF. Happy days!!! Or not really…. at this stage your boobs don’t have yet enough milk and she sucked them dry!!! And then kept sucking more!!! I had dry hurting nipples for a while…… i would sleep topless with nipple cream on. I would be in the house topless with nipple cream on…

Dear Daughter is now 10 months and still BFing ๐Ÿ˜€ and to be honest with you, it’s so much easier!!! I can be a little lazy. Bottle fed babies will sleep more tough…

Good luck :))) main thing is don’t feel guilty. Formula is not so bad. And if you do try my method, still formula is not so bad but you can think that a little suck is better than nothing

pm me if you want to talk more ๐Ÿ™‚
