    Nope. We use regular bumpers.

    @ms.melli:  i’ve been wondering the same thing. i hope others reply who have used them or have done some research into whether they are actually safer than regular bumpers.   Not something i need to worry about right away anyway since my baby will be sleeping in the bassinet in our bedroom for the first few months at least.

    I hope more people chime in too – My SIL gave me a white mesh bumper she wasn’t using anymore and I’m not sure if I want to use it or not. You can definitely breathe through it. I tested it. lol

    I think they’re unecessary.  Plus, once the baby gets old enough to stand in the crib, she/he will stand on the bumper, making themselves taller.  That’s how my oldest got high enough to escape from her crib.

    i didnt just a regular bumper BUT i did think about it because LO had the thing of sleeping with her face in it.
