- Wedding: September 2013
I just finished 12 hours of work and I’m exhausted with a huge headache. Darling Husband is still at work and won’t be home for who knows how long. He also got slapped with fines from the IRS due to his accountant screwing up royally (they say they can write a letter to get him out of it and they’d better, but that’s another story.)
The deposit on our reception venue is due and I keep forgetting to send it (although technically not until the end of the month.) We’ve had a lot of the ‘can we bring +1s, kids etc. emails lately which isn’t helping.
My sister teaches little kids with behavioral issues and has to worry about her childrens’ safety on a daily basis.
My girlfriends and sister just spent over an hour booking flights to come to our reception.
My parents’ oldest friends who have known me my entire life (and while I was incubating, LOL) are coming to NYC to celebrate with us and making a holiday of it. They are in their 80s.
When I emailed another friend to see if she needed hotel info, she told me she booked it a month ago (must’ve been as soon as we sent out Save-The-Date Cards.)
My Mother-In-Law is amazing and the entire family have been so inclusive of me even since they found out we were getting married (they got a whopping 3 weeks notice.)
Truckloads of my DH’s friends and family are coming from New Zealand to celebrate with us in NYC. That’s a full day of flying and a lot of $.
So…I just need to breathe and focus on the awesome stuff, right?
