So I really want to check out some local bridal boutiques for dresses. I’m just worried that they’ll be out of budget. Of course they don’t put prices online, but is that something they will tell you over email or the phone? Could they give me their price range? I don’t want to make an appointment if I can’t afford anything. I would just really like to go to a boutique. Please give me all the advice 🙂 TIA

Most of the places I’ve gone and spoken to with off the rack dresses, will sell them within certain price ranges, but I haven’t seen any with dresses under $500.i have a $600 budget and was still able to pull 6 dresses to try on earlier. I also spoke to a bridal shop at the bridal show I attended today and they said they have plenty for $500-$1000. And the consignment salon I’ve been to a couple of times has dress for $99, but not a lot, most are in the $300-$700 range. And they are all in pristine condition. And it still felt like a bridal salon. The consultants I’ve worked with have been good at respecting the budget.

I’m going to my first bridal show tomorrow, so maybe that’ll give me a good place to start

it was really helpful. The one we went to was pretty small, but there were still 3 bridal shops there and they were totally willing to talk numbers, plus you could sign up to win a diaciu t off your gown. The only type of vendor I wanted to see was the one that I couldnt find, a hair/makeup vendor lol. My sister came with and said there was one, but it was so busy, I must have missed it. Defintiely print labels with your information on it. I saw a lot if people using them and it definitely svaes time on writing out all your info.
Plus go with an empty stomach, so many catering and cake samplea. I left my mom and sister sample those since I don’t do wheat products or sugar. I did find caterers with quite a range, some as cheap as $16 a plate. I appreciated that most everyone was willing to be specific on numbers lol. I’m all about the budget and have no plan to raise it.

I’m sure you’ll find some great info at the bridal show! But in general, I had no problem getting a price range out of employees at boutiques near me. They even told me the exact price of a dress I was interested in when I called. I’d definitely give them a call and see what they can tell you.

I found that when I called in and was up front about my budget, all the bridal shops I contacted were very forthcoming with their price range. So I would try the same thing! I think they will understand that you don’t want to waste your own time or their time if the entire shop is out of your price range.

You can usually see what designers the shops carry on their website, and then you can check the designer’s websites to see price ranges.
