I’m so excited! My Fiance and I are attending a bridal conference we were chosen to attend out of a drawing! We get a free gift; either a trip to Puerto Rico, or wedding bands made from tungsten, which apparently is becoming a more populer choice. I’m excited; we’re going for the wedding bands, seeing as how it will be one less expense for our 2014 wedding. I mean, we can always get them sized later on. I really feel like a bride-to-be now; finally, we’re doing something involving our wedding together.

I think I have heard of these things before and they have turned out to be scams. You have a hard time redeeming for the honeymoon and the rings only cost a few hundred dollars if you paid yourself and you have to sit through a sales pitch. What company is it that invited you? I think the company that everyone talks about is something Prestige?

I think I’ve heard that tungsten can’t be resized, you might want to check on that before ordering.

YES! shes so right! we won the same thing and turned it down! you can get the rings online for way less the the 600 they say they are worth.
i would be careful- it ok to still go but be warned they will try and sell you into signing up for cookware and then a fun pack etc..it will end up costing you if you arent careful!

I’m pretty sure Tungsten can’t be resized. We got a tungsten ring for Fiance and found out later that they can shatter when dropped and can’t be resized.
Watch out, I “win” a cruise weekly.

Just FYI, you can get tungsten wedding bands for like $20 on Amazon.

Well, we went to this thing and we got a gift card for 2 free tungsten rings, but I’m thinking we probably will just buy our own wedding bands to be on the safe side. We got to taste food, and the cookware was amazing but way too expensive. The one thing that I got out of it was that I felt more like a bride, doing something together with my FH that involved both of us dealing with weddings.
