Daily user here too. I wear contacts occasionally but they bother too much to last all day, I love the idea of getting glasses for the occasion. My favorites are the second and last.

I’m doing contacts just for the sake of pictures. I don’t want a glare.

I also suggest contacts. Just get a pack of dailies if you don’t normally wear them.

What colours are in your bouquet? I’d consider pulling one of those as your frame colour so it goes with your look as someone else said will be more of an accessory and won’t just blend into your face. Could look cool!

I love love love my glasses, and wear them to work daily.  That being said, I would have never in a million years worn them for my wedding.  I’m just not a fan of glasses for special occasions, as other have said.

But…. I do love the glasses you chose.  Any of them would look nice. 🙂

ETA to add a pic of the glasses I loved so much, and of the puppy who destroyed said glasses while I was showering last week.  Now I have no glasses. cry

I vote for the first or last pair! I think the shape of those two will compliment your face structure the best . If you could get the first pair in a blush color, that’d be even better!! I love the little metal accents on the first pair 🙂

ETA – make sure you get a really good anti-glare coating on the lenses so you don’t get a bad glare for photos! Also, have your photog let you know if there’s a glare so you can adjust the angle of them or take them off for some photos

I only wear glasses. I don’t love them, but I can’t see anything without them. I tried contacts for a couple years but in the end they just bothered my eyes too much. I may look at some other frames for the day, but other than that I’m just going to go for it! They’re a part of my face now. I’m so used to them (and so is FH) that I honestly think I’d look strange without them. (It’ll also be nice to see everything! 😉 ) Go with whatever makes you the most comfortable!

I wear glasses everyday and just wore the pair of glasses I’ve been wearing for several years now at my wedding. They are definitely not neutral but that didn’t bother me. I don’t really understand the “just wear contacts comments” since you stated your glasses are part of your style. I really like the first pair you picked.

Honestly I think you should 100% rock a new pair of glasses for the wedding! Not wearing them would make you not look like you, so I don’t get the whole ‘not for special occasions’ thing.

Anywho, I’d probably recommend you get your dress first so you know what colours will suit, but I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the ones you posted. Even a nice two tone if you’re looking for something slightly different?

I’m really puzzled by the concept that eyeglasses are not meant for special occasions.

I amso wear eyeglasses. I’m not able to wear contacts and am a poor candidate for lasik.  I have a small “wardrobe” of eyeglass colors/styles and change up my look for fun regularly.  My wedding dress is very vintage so I’ve been searching for some suitable vintage frames.
