Any brides here here have their hair down (or half up/ twisted back) with loose waves? Had my hair trial and while i didn’t HATE it, I felt it was so weighed down and my curls never “separated”. I feel crazy but I think I would much rather her not hairspray my hair until it was curled and let it be loose. For reference.. my hair is “roughed up” and holds a curl fairly well. For the most part when I go out I often curl it and don’t use any hair spray. It’s def “loose beach waves” but that’s what I like!
Any one have have success with this look? For reference.. I’ve included a pic of my hair recently done by my salon (not my wedding hair stylist).

I had pretty loose beachy waves and loved it! It felt the most like “me”, it was easy, and it made my traditional dress seem less stuffy. You should go for it!

Loose waves is exactly how I want my hair, make sure you tell your stylist about your concerns, just tell her you want more separation. Since it is Bridal hair, stylists usually spray the crap out of styles so they will hold all day for your pictures and whatnot. Voice your concerns and see what solution you can come up with.

I did my own hair for the same reason. I never use hairspray when I curl it, but they go a little crazy at salons and I basically leave looking like a lion haha.
