Need your opinions fellow bees (good, bad or indifferent)
I can’t afford any Jenny Packham bridal pieces…although I am totally in LUST with them. I am wearing a fingertip veil…and will have the piece attached to my head/w the veil and then for the rest of the evening I will remove the veil and just wear the piece alone.
I found this on ebay, which is an ok substitue…
but then I used some ingenuity based on someting I own…and was able to find these at a small price point and they appeal to my authentic vintage aesthetic.

Check out Etsy, there’s a TON of stuff at different price points. Bhldn also has JP-esque headpieces, but they’re not cheap.

@BooRadley: I have been all over etsy and ebay and BHLDN (my dress is from there).
I can’t find anything less than 100.00 that looks beautiful and is well made and has the look I want.
Some chick is renting her Justice of the Peace head dress for 100.00 with 500.00 deposit? WHAT! by that time if I had an extra 600 lying around, I would just buy my own, or something like it.
The two featured above are fairly large vintage pieces that I could wear, and maybe wouldn’t give me the Justice of the Peace vibe in it’s entirety but just a piece of it and a piece that is an authenticly vintage from the time period I covet as well.
If I search anything under “bridal jeweled headpiece”, or anthing with the word Bridal in it. automatically it’s over 100. Or is tacky and not what I want, or too expensive.
I own a vintage piece called a “fur clasp” or a “dress pin”. And I was able to search for these in large sizes, all under 50 dollars, from the era 1920-1930s. The pins have a clasp with teeth, and I can wear this in my hair, as I do with my “fur clasp” piece.

@Khalessi3: I love the vintage pieces but I also love the headband because it wlll lay flush to your head and be flexible.
If you’re into DIYing your headband with some trim, I’d check out MJ Trim!
They have rhinestone trims and appliques for very affordable pricing.
I love Jenny Packham as well.. the pieces are so romantic!
but you’re right way, wayyy over priced!
Out of the choice of the 3 in your post, I’d do the headband.
