As Maid/Matron of Honor for my best friend, I got henna done on my palms for her Indian wedding.  I loved it and was only complemented on it while it lasted.  I say go for it!  Henna looks beautiful no matter who it’s on.  Especially on white skin where it stands out amazingly.

And if you’re only doing as little as on the picture you’ve shown, then you have nothing to worry about.  Because, come on, how often do you stand with your palms facing outwards?

I think it’s a fantastic idea- I agree, you don’t often get pictures of the bottom of your palms- so you can get some cool shots with it, and won’t even see it most of theo ther time- so there’s not much to regret there! If you do- pleeeease post pics when the time comes- I think it’ll look amazing 😀

I agree with the PP, I would love to see pictures!

My FH and I are both caucasian, but we live in a city with a huge desi population. The place I go to for esthetics does the most amazing bridal mehndi, and I’m planning on getting bridal mehndi done for myself, my bridal party & mom. Probably on the soles of our feet, but maybe palms : that picture is so pretty.

    DO IT!!!!
I really regret not getting henna done on my wedding day!

I was super busy the week before so didn’t get a chance to have it done! I think if you feel comfortable in it, go for it!!!

I think it’s beautiful & could work very well with with an outdoorsy, nature-themed wedding.

Mrs. Meatball is white and had henna, search her posts. I think it looks nice on the inner palms.

I think bridal Henna looks gorgeous, but I wouldn’t entirely brush off the comments by your family. Considering you would be doing it for looks and not cultural/religious reasons, I would maybe have your feet done instead. But if its something you have your heart set on, I think you should do it!
