Wow. I am SO sorry this is happening to you. You hear these horror stories every so often and it is just terrible.

Thank you for posting this though. Sometimes insurance can be such a gamble. You think, “wow, this wedding insurance is $500. If nothing goes wrong, we’re out $500 that could have been put to really great use somehwere” But what about when the crazy unredictible happens, like with the case of your wedding?

I have been toying with the idea of getting wedding insurance for several months now and haven’t come to a decision yet, but I think the peace of mind in case something does happen will be the worth the extra money.

My thoughts are with you while you guys pull things together again!

i’m SO sorry you and your fi had to go through such a HORRIBLE experience just a short time before your wedding. its sickening to know that there are people out there who do these kind of things to others. i just wanted to thank you SOOOOOO much for taking the time to even post the info about the bridal insurance. i had no idea that it even existed. i’m definitely going to look into it now. i wish you and your fi would’ve known about it beforehand. i hope that you get ALL of your money back, and more from those bastards. and good luck finding another venue for your wedding. i hope you fine one that is even better than the last one you had, and hopefully even cheaper 🙂
