mu MUA used a combo of MAC Velvet Teddy and MAC Creme Cup. It looked amazing and lasted through our first look and photos (12-5PM). Prior to the ceremony (since I didn’t have those lipsticks), I put on L’oreal Infallible 2-step lipcolor in Timeless Rose. It was beautiful and lasted the rest of my evening (5PM -11PM)

I used Liar by Urban Decay (suggested to me by someone at Ulta) and it worked out really well. It’s a natural darker pink that matched my skin tone really well. I hadn’t used Urban Decay products before but it lasted all day with just minor touch ups.

GirlyGirl24:  I used Urban Decay Rev. lipstick in Rush. I loved it! Perfect shade of a rosey natural pink for me. I also love Liar by them, that’s a great color as well.

GirlyGirl24:  I wanted a rosy pink that wouldn’t make a mess, get on my teeth, crack or wipe off on my husband. For that reason, I am a huge fan of lipstains.

For the base, I wore the Elf stain- the pink one. I lined my lips with that then colored it in. I then let it set. I bought this at Target. Another good one that is similar is the Palladia and NYColor stains that you can get at a beauty supply store or drug store.

I then used the YSL stain in “Rose Vinyl” over which goes on glossy and has buildable color- then dries to a stain. It really lasts a long time and is such a beautiful color. I bought mine at Sephora. It’s pricey but it is worth every penny.

Okay the number 1 priority is kissability! Brides,  don’t forget that you’ll be kissing  your groom a lot! if you get some regular old lipstick, you’re in trouble because that pink goo will be all over your groom and the front of your dress, and on your glass,  and off your lips,  probably even before the ceremony starts.  So go try as many 12-24 hr lip liquids as you can to see what works for you the best.  The liquid will dry first and then you apply a shiny finish stick or gloss.  It keeps color all day and you can just reapply gloss as needed.  I used Covergirl Outlast “dusty rose”. It’s the best brand.  I’ve tried L’oreal long wear lipstick,  but it felt sticky, refused to dry,  and cracked soon after application.  Sephora brand feels very nice,  but it’s matte only,  and it’s not the greatest for photos.  You want your lips to look juicy,  not dry.  Try Covergirl.  It’s cheap,  but very good.

I see some other bees recommended Urban Decay Naked lipsticks and I have to agree with them! I wore the shade Naked which worked well for me but they have a bunch of different hues and shades of natural looking lipsticks, one is bound to work for you.
