I’m going to be wearing a L’oreal product called Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain in the color Pink Resistance. The name is ridiculously long, and it was a bit hard to find (I’ve only seen it at Kroger, of all places), but this stuff is amazing! I bought it to test as a possibility for wedding wear, but it’s now become one of my everyday go-to lip colors as well. It has excellent staying power and doesn’t rub off easily. Basically, it looks and feels a lot like a gloss, but wears like a stain. I’m very fair and warm-toned myself, and the Pink Resistance is a perfect, natural-but-better color for me.

Revlon Ultimate Suede lipsticks are seriously amazing. I used a red shade for my engagement photos on the weekend, and it lasted from 9:00AM, through a ton of kissy photos, lunch, and multiple glasses of wine, and snacks. None came off on Fiance or any glasses. It was still there when I got home around 6 that evening, though it had faded to more of a stain by then.

GirlyGirl24:  I DIY’d my make-up and used a combo of Kat Von D “Agatha” and MAC Creme Cup. It was more of a light pink than what you’re looking for – but showed up well in pics. I’d top it off with Maybelline Color Whisper in One Size Fits Pearl.

For kissability I would recommend this. It’s the only lip product that I have tried that doesn’t leave behind a mark when I drink out of a cup. Light rose would be a great bridal color πŸ™‚

if you want more freedoms as to choosing your lipstick, I also recommend this

the name of the product is pretty much what it does. With any lipstick you can use this to add on a protective layer that locks in he color.

I found my perfect shade last weekend!  It’s by Bobbi Brown in the new luxe lip colour range, in the colour “Pink Sand 2”.  Piccy below… I, too, have very yellow undertones and so blue-based lipsticks don’t suit me.  I gravitate toward warm colours anyway, but this one is just spot on! As I am going for a dramatic eye look for my wedding day, I wanted something more natural on my lips. Et voila!  This range is on the pricier side but the formula is very creamy and long-lasting so worth the splurge in my opinion!

So glad I found this post! I just bought some CoverGirl Outlast lipstick today, after reading some reviews online, and I am hoping for the best. If it doesn’t work out, I will try one of the many suggestions here.

you should check out the product LipSense! it stays on for like 18 hours. lots of people think it is a stain, but it is an actual pigmented color that bonds to your lips. I wear it and it is amazing. you do have to buy it from distributors like mary kay and avon do with their products, but you could find people who sell it from the website senegence.com

check out colors aussie rose and roseberry on google or something. i am wearing either plum or berry for my wedding! πŸ™‚

I used Buxom lipstick then added a coordinating lipgloss of theirs on top. What is good about their lipstick is that is slender and pointed so it can be used as a liner as well. The color I went with was darker that I would normally wear but it came out great in photos!

thosethreewords:  Chanel Rouge Allure in 54 is Frivole. Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 54 is Boy. I think you might mean that one. I haven’t tried Frivole, but I love Boy. Rouge Coco Shine lippies are amazing, I use them daily but they don’t stay on the lips for more than about 10 minutes so may not be great for a wedding. Plus the transfer is pretty bad.
