I’d like to host a bridal luncheon for my bridesmaids and others who helped plan the big day – and I’d like to send cute invitations for it…but all of the invites I see online look like someone else is hosting it….? I assume I host but why am I seeing invites like this??

Is this before or after the wedding? Such a cute, sweet idea. I wish I could do something like this after the fact but that would include a whole lot of plane tickets and I’m pretty sure everyone will be sick of flying by the time it’s over!
Maybe you could do it yourself?? Or i’m sure you could find someone on Etsy who would make them for you? Good luck.

My mom and I are doing a bridal luncheon the day of the wedding for all the bridemaids and the women family members.
I don’t see a problem with you hosting it but you may want to ask someone to co-host it with you to avoid added stress of planning it before the wedding.
I am not real big on formalities so mine probably won’t have a hosted by section. I’ll probably just call it a bridal luncheon and leave it at that. I will thank them in person at the party.

- Wedding: April 2018 - Country Club ceremony, ballroom reception
I’m hosting my Ladies Tea (basically a bridal luncheon) and will be making my own invites. This may be a regional thing, but down here it’s quite typical for the bride (or her mama) to host the luncheon as gratitude for all the hardwork the b-maids, etc. have put in. Hope this helps!!

I was going to do it either the day before the wedding or the day of (we’re not getting married until 630pm and we’ll be at our ‘get ready’ location all day anyway….). I guess you can have whatever you want printed on the invites, but I just saw examples of others hosting and thought it was odd! Maybe I’ll add my mom’s name to help with the planning 🙂 Thanks girls!
