I think they’re such a fun thing to buy at first, when you’re all excited and stuff. But after you get 2 or 3, they’re repetitive and worthless

Yes, after a few they are not worth as much. And there are way too many dress adds.

I always love Martha Stewart Weddings, but I find the other bridal magazines kind of repetitive and boring.  I also found that I got more up-to-date, specialized information from reading blogs and online sites instead of magazines.  I got more ideas that way, for sure!

I love looking at them, I just have to admit. In fact, I bought two earlier. I really like Martha Stewart Weddings, but I think I get more ideas from the website! I agree with the fact that there are too many ads – especially for engagement rings! So, they’re a little like junk food to me. Fun to look at but probably no nutrition 🙂

Completely useless in my opinion. There’s so much more info out there online – it’s better and it’s free. I never bought one. The only times I’ve ever looked through them were the ones in the waiting area at the hair salon. A friend of mine gave me a stack leftover when her wedding was done but I barely even looked at them before I passed them on to another friend.

Hubby got me subscriptions to Modern Brides and Brides right after we got engaged.

At news stand prices I think they are a complete waste of money but if you can get one of those cheap subscriptions for a year then I think it’s worth it, just for the fun of it!

I don’t think they are very useful with regards to actually helping you plan but I liked looking at the pictures and ads with my roommate and ripping out inspiration.

I took GREAT pleasure in handing huge stacks of magazines to my two engaged friends right after our wedding 🙂

Good for pictures, lousy for articles.

Everything I ever need to know can be found online and in forums. Also, the timeline suggestions freak me out.
