I would do one by myself but I would never do one with my bridal party. Who do you even give those pictures to? I wouldn’t want their SOs to see me half naked and I’m sure they don’t want my husband seeing them.

Ick gross. Why would I give Fiance photos of my friends half naked? This shouldn’t have even been categorized as a wedding trend. Should just be “weird stuff girls do sometimes.”

@Mrs.LemonDrop: Ahah yeah I think they’d definitely be photos that you wouldn’t necessarily want blogged 😉
Ahah I never even thought of that! Yeah that might be just a bit weird doing a boudoir session with family 😉
I totally didn’t realise that there was another thread on this! It’s funny we made them at the same time- about a month ago!
Hahah agreed! I can’t imagine that many people IRL do this regularly!

I don’t think this is a real trend. This is just media. Boudoir shoots are totally a trend, but I’ve never heard of anyone doing them with other people from the bridal party in the shots. I love me girls…but not like that. And I had 2 guys in my bridal party! Including my brother – ewwwwwwwwwwww!

@Fanciful: +100 OMG. I didn’t read the article and somehow misread the title. Heck no I wouldn’t make my friends get naked for a photo shoot. creepy!

@JenGirl: Hahah yeah that sounds like it could be a total disaster. Someone commented on the article saying that they didn’t think it was an actual trend and the author said: “I’m not sure how many would consider this. I put that this a trend in the post because ABC’s The Chew stated ‘it’s reported that there is a 50% increase in the photos over the last two years’. Here’s the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1EcZbpzaRM”
I don’t really think the 50% increase means all that much aha, so basically it went from pretty much non-existant to a scattering of sessions 😉

Alone = trendy. Yes, I did it.

@hazyleyedbeauty: I was curious how did you give it to him. Did you do a phot album using shutterfly or anything else or did you just print the pictures and gave it to him. I’m trying to figure out how to do mine. I just received my pictures today and we fly out Wed to Mexico for the wedding .

I don’t get it.
What would you do with nude or semi-nude photos? Why would I want to be naked in a room with a bunch of my friends? Why would I want to give these photos to my husband?
I have seen photo shoots where the bridal party has on say corsets and short shorts, a silk lingerie style dress, etc. And they take pictures with feather boas and hats or whatever outside. Those pictures were on facebook. I thought they were weird, but they weren’t over the top sexual or anything.

@paula1248: This is what I thought, too. Who exactly is this a gift for? The bridal party??? No thank you. And it is absolutely not for my FH – I highly doubt he’d like to see his cousins gettin’ all sexified. Gross.

@futuremrsk18: yeah right? And even for the girls, they will probably all not be bffs and then they ahve to cuddle up all nekked.
It’s great if we all have rockin bods and an underwear commercial to make but other then that I don’t get why on earth anyone would do this.
You’re really gonna give it to your DH, really? casue you want him looking at you and 5 of your best friends semi nekked? I don’t think so.
What’s even worse if you’re a Bridesmaid or Best Man whose supposed to be doing this and then the bride can do whatever she wants with these pics. Oh hell no.

@GlamMeup: Hi, I’ve just done it too, I’m having them made into a book and giving them to him the night before the wedding..
I wouldnt have group ones done but i did consider having a boudoir photographer at the bachorlette party in a room for girls to have individual ones done.

Nooooo thank you.
Who would these be for? I love my friends and everything but I don’t want sexy pictures of them. Sure as hell not giving them to my husband.
