My matron-of-honor found out she was pregnant (surprise!) and as her due date is a few weeks before my destination wedding, she obviously won’t be able to make it. I am planning on getting all my girls robes to wear while getting ready before the ceremony as part of their bridal party gifts – if she isn’t able to attend, do I still get her a robe? Not sure how to proceed here and any suggestions are welcome!

@junebug2013: Hmm, I don’t think it’s necessary to get her the gifts you are getting your girls, but it would be sweet to send her a “I wish you could be here!” gift, be it the robe and whatever else you’re getting girls, or something else to say you’re thinking of her. I say it’s up to you though! 🙂

One of my maids had to drop out due to financial issues, so I’m planning on sending her the necklace that I made for everyone, but probably not the other gifts.

Thanks! I think I am going to send the robe, along with a gift for the baby who was born to days ago and is gorgeous!
