If it’s in the budget, it’s nice to pay for theirs. I’d you can’t afford it however, you can just tell them that they have the option to get hair/makeup done for $X that day with you. If you’re not paying for it though, you can’t really ask them to all wear a specific style.

I don’t think it matters if you make appointments at a salon or have someone come to your house.  I went to a salon for my wedding but was in another where the bride had people come to the hotel room.  Having it at home is nice because people can get getting dressed and organized while others are getting hair and makeup done.  And if someone chooses not to do hair and/or makeup you can still all be together.

As far as payment goes, if you are requiring they get professional hair and makeup done, then you should pay.  But if it’s optional, then it’s fine to request that your BMs to pay.  Just let them know you’re making appointments, that it cost $X, and to let you know if they want an appointment.

@chebel20:  If you want them to have a certain style you should pay if you dont care they can.  Or it can be a gift from you.  Also, ask them if they want it done.  Some girls may have already planned to get it done and some girls may be planning to do theirs themselves.
