Anyone have a groomsmen or bridesmaid who won’t be able to make the wedding rehearsal or rehearsal dinner because flying in night before/day of wedding?
I’m not sure if this would be too problematic or if it’s totally doable to fill in the person with what they missed about rehearsal when that person arrives?
Let me know your thoughts.

We are having our rehearsal dinner the night before, so not a problem for us.
However, I’m sure you could certainly fill in your BM/GM the day of.

Happens all the time. He can easily be updated by one of the other men. It’s not rocket science.

I was in a wedding a few years ago and was unable to go to the rehearsal due to my school schedule. I let them know way ahead of time and they were cool with it. They had an outdoor garden ceremony which was simple. The bride and MOH just told me what to do and I followed the girl in front of me and all was good. I think if it’s more complicated like a full Catholic mass or something where there’s a lot of sitting, kneeling, up at the altar stuff then it may be more difficult to just explain it to someone who might not be familiar with what goes on.

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding where none of the groomsmen were there since they all flew in the morning of the wedding. It went perfectly well. Just keep it simple. In that wedding the grromsmen weren’t part of the processional – they were already at the front of the church so at least their entrance didn’t have to be timed to music like the bridesmaids. And for when the bridemaids are walking in the others can just fill the missing girl in the day of.
