- Wedding: July 2014
Random thing I decide to focus on today instead of the things i should be doing. What song will the bridal party walk out to?
We’re having a very traditional wedding, although not in a church, and I want classical music for sure. We’ll be doing a speaker system, as much as I wish I could afford live musicans, that’s not happening.
Anyways, what song should the bridal party walk out to? I’ll be walking down to the Bridal March, because I’ve always wanted to. Our entire party will be walking out to the same song, including the officant, the parents/grandparents, the men, and then girls. If we can fit it in, the moms will also be doing some sort of help for the unity ceremony (I think. I dont know haha. Im just kind of making this up in my head as I write, how I want it to look.)
I think I want something that is happy sounding, but not too crazy up beat (my FI keeps suggesting the Sabre Dance, which is not happening haha). And I want something that goes with the elegant, happy feeling.
Im thinking the songs may get cut down a bit, depending on how long the processional takes.
Anyways- Song choices!
Canon in D
Spring from The Four Seasons
and the one my FI keeps suggesting: The Sabre Dance (this is for jokes, there is no way. I can see my bridal party basically running down the aisle!)
Or any other classical suggestions? I don’t want a pop song that’s been arranged classically, we’ll be doing songs like that while people are coming and getting seated and stuff, so I want a traditional classical song.
