The recent wedding I was in  as bridesmade, the bride paid for manicures as a bridal party getting to know then some cute artsy jewelry as a bridesmaids gifts.

For my own now that i’m starting to plan – I’m figuring on paying gifts, some kind of girlish treat. Dresses I will ask them to, but I’m hoping to find something affordable they will be able to re-wear.

My mom paid for their dresses, I was going to pay for them, but she wanted to. I’m paying for the make up, the hair is free as my sister and cousin, who are both BM’s, offered to do this as their gift to me. I’m also thinking about taking them for a manicure or getting them a small gift. Not jewelry though.

A gift and 3 nights at a hotel (technically they are having their hair done also, but I’m not paying for it since it is a hairstylist friend’s gift to me).  The dress was on them (as was airfare.)  We are doing our own makeup.

Their accessories for the day (small fascinator, earrings, and clutches) and a gift (hoping to find cool vintage compact mirrors to put in the clutches and then probably wine and a painted wineglass).  I am waffling on paying for mani/pedi the day before.  They are paying for their dresses, and their hair/makeup.

We paid for everything.  We bought the dresses, shoes, hair, make-up, and accessories.  We also did this for the gents,  bought the suits, ties, shoes, and shirts.  We were going to rent tuxes until we found the suits on sale for the same price as the rentals.  All of that along with small gifts.  All four of our wedding party members have had a hard financial year so we didn’t want to put any further burdens on them.

We’re just getting gifts for our bridal party. We picked out well priced dresses, cheap jewelry (that they’ll wear again), and they’re picking out their own shoes (so they get more than one use out of them). I’m planning on purchasing clutches for their gifts and filling them with goodies and/or a giftcard to pay for manicures. Hair/make-up is free, as we have cousins that work in salons. We’re on a smaller budget, as are they, but picked out things everyone could afford.

A small gift, their bouquet (duh) and an open bar tab.

Dresses, hair/makeup, etc. is on them. I tried to find super affordable dresses (under 100$) and I don’t care if they get their hair & makeup professionally done or what kind of shoes they wear as long as they aren’t flip flops.

A gift, hair and makeup, and I put $110 towards their dress because it was pricier than I’d have liked.

I would have paid for hair/makeup but Maid/Matron of Honor 1 is a hair dresser and wanted a really expensive one–her person. And Maid/Matron of Honor 2 wants to do it herself–she doesn’t like to be messed with. Bridesmaid or Best Man 1, i guess she’s stuck with DIY because of what the MsOH want.

I’m getting them some gifts and paying for their mani/pedi.

Last wedding my SO was in–they didn’t give their bridal party anything. It’s not necessary, it’s just nice.

Still deciding, but I’d like to pay for some portion of their hair/makeup, probably just hair plus a gift (so far, i’ve gotten them necklaces for their dresses).

I am paying for their hair, which is going to be about $50 per girl. I also bought them a small gift, which is just a journal and lip gloss.
