Yesterday I met my photographer at the Texas Discovery Gardens to take my bridals. She shot my engagement session and we still have family and friends tell us how unique and great they were and it was a no-brainer that she would shoot my wedding. I initially wasn’t going to do bridals but I am so glad that I did – I have never felt more beautiful and I literally squealed at my desk at work when my sneak peek came in.

annelise210516 : Thanks so much! I felt so stunning in my gown with my hair and makeup done and my photographer and I have a good rapport so I look my absolute best! Bridals – at least where I’m from – are done separate from the wedding and groom. Some of the photos are displayed at the reception and given as gifts to parents of the bride. My groom is very traditional so he won’t see me in my dress until the ceremony.
chrissytine : my photographer has a very good eye for lighting and as she was taking this picture she told me she knew it would be her favorite because of the way the light hit. We did these right before sunset before light got too harsh.

unfettering : so beautiful! You said they are shot separately from the wedding, so sometime before the wedding that day or a separate day?

stephyhansen : Thanks so much. These are shot on a separate day! My wedding is December 18 and I took these a month prior. It’s sort of a trial run for the whole bridal look, so to speak.
