This is my backup plan in case the weather is crappy on our day and we don’t get any nice outdoor shots. Go for it if you will miss those pictures!

I’m a winter bride this is my plan if the weather sucks; aka for us no snow!

You should wait and see what you get from your photographer, but I think with the Groupon deals you should just do what you want!

For my e-shoot I got my hair, nails, and tan done on groupon deals.  I am a little obsessed.  I have already bought deals for canvas prints and a photobook and I have not gotten the photos back yet.

Life is short! If you want more photos get more photos 🙂 Especially because this is such a special time in your life and why not ride it out as long as possible. You’re still a bride! Put back on the dress!   I have a feeling after I get married my husband will come home to find me randomly back in my dress. haha

I would wait and see what you get from your photographer.  I remember thinking after our e-shoot that we didn’t get any detail shots of my ring, FI’s trademark argyle socks, etc., but our photographer had taken both of those shots (and more!) without us realizing.

We had originally scheduled a post-wedding shoot, but ended up cancelling it while on our honeymoon because it started to feel like a hassle and our photographer assured us she got plenty of portraits on our wedding day.  She offered us the option of doing a one-year anniversary session instead, and we gratefully accepted.  Maybe that would be a good option for you to get more pics with your new DH?

Not married, yet but would definitely do a bridal shoot of me and my hubby so that we had better pictures of the things we wanted. I imagine the wedding day doesn’t permit the time to get all of those perfect shots and you were probably so stressed. Do it, girl. It’s better than regretting not doing it later.

We didn’t do a separate shoot, and got TONS of pictures of the two of us, and a couple of just me (the weather was nice.) Worked great for us!

ETA: the timing is what makes a big difference- we had about 3 hours after the ceremony

I think all of the multitude of pictures involved in weddings is kind of self absorbed BUT I’m totally on board haha. I think when we’re all old we will be happy to have so many wonderful pictures of such a happy time in our lives. I say go for it and enjoy yourself as long as you can afford it (which it obviously sounds like you can)!

@KimmySumShuga:  I might have found someone as obsessed with deals as me!! I can ALWAYS find a deal for what I want.  I am a Groupon VIP so I can get deals that expired for most people- if you haven’t looked into this I highly reccomend it.   When I tell people I am a Groupon VIP they laugh because they think I am making this up and joking.  Nope, I am really that into it.  Lifebooker is also a great site for beauty related deals.
