I’m also a fiestware girl.  Fine china just isn’t our style.  For one, I am clumsy and will break it.  Two, we don’t have the room for it (live in city).  Three, I know there is a ton in the family to be passed down eventually.  We did register and receive new Fiestaware.  Our place settings are scarlet red and peacock blue.  Then some accents in tangerine because we already have place settings in that shade.  I love color and lots of it. It’s fun to mix it up!

We’re going to eventually get my mom’s heirloom set of china so we only registered for everyday dishes.  They’re the Lenox Vibe collection.

I was set on white or cream colored dishes because I didn’t want to get bored of a pattern down the line.  My Fiance wanted something interesting on the dishes so we compromised on this set which we both love.  There’s enough pattern to be interesting but also plain enough that we won’t get bored!  =)

And I also LOVE the bowls.. they’re like the ideal, deep cereal bowl!  (It’s the little things in life that make me excited LOL)

We registered for both colors, they are so beautiful when mixed.

My Mom is getting us some glass salad bowls, as well.

@MrsCheetos… GORGEOUS!!! Really, sooo lovely.

Okay, my post is going to be long!

We also registered for these silver “wave” placemats… they are very cool!

This is how they look with a plate set (not ours, but pretty)

And we registered for these chargers!

These will be used to dress up our everyday Gordon Ramsay plates.

@hopefloats:  Oh, don’t!! I LOVE pattern and if I would’ve seen your set, I would have wanted it in a heartbeat!!  I’m hoping to dress mine up and change texture with the chargers and placemats.  A great pattern silk napkin will complete the look for us!

@LuckyJuls:  That’s awesome! I just saw them for the first time when we registered the other day… I just love them and I am so excited to hopefully get them!  (I will buy them myself if I have to!).  They are so unique to me!

Ours are Lucille Gold by Denby — same as @village_skeptic! I love them because they’ll go with basically any holiday/decor — red and green for Christmas, brown and orange for Thanksgiving, silver and white for New Year’s, pastels for Easter, etc. etc. — and the pattern is based on a panel of 1950s lace ๐Ÿ™‚

Like I haven’t posted on this thread enough, I wanted to mention I already have my china (above).  I also have another set of beautiful vintage china that I just inherited from my grandmother.
