My mom is only able to come into town to go dress shopping with me for a super short period of time: she gets in late morning Thursday and leaves early afternoon on Saturday. I want to make sure that we get to see as many dresses as we can, because I’d love for her to be with me when I make “the choice”. At the same time, I don’t want to be more focused on making appointments and the stress of driving around town and not enjoy the experience. So, in short: how many salons did you visit? How many are too many to pack into 1.5 days? Any ideas?

When I went dress shopping I only did a max of 2 stores daily. I wound up at 7 dress store by the end of my search, but that was over a 4 month period of time. Dress shopping wore me out physicially and emotionally lol I think it’s best to spend your time at each and go home and digest what you saw. I completely understand that you want your mother with you when you say “yes” because not only will you feel it, but she will have your same reaction when it’s the right one. I would say see how you feel throughout them and don’t stress yourself out. I’m sure your mom wouldn’t want you to approach this experience in a stressful way. Have fun!!!!

I would stick to 3 per day. Depending on how long you spend at each, it can be a pretty exhausting day lifting heavy dresses over your head. And the more you try on, the harder it will be to keep them straight – especially if the places don’t allow pictures.
