Good Afternoon Bees!! Well after my last post in regards to finding a belt for my dress – I finally ordered one online at a budget price in hopes to some DIY work.
The sash was $38 and I ordered it on Tueday and it came Friday! So Awesome! I think it looks really beautiful with my dress. The sash applique is very heavy and the quality is amazing for the price. I know Etsy has a lot of sashes that are $200 but If you are a DIY bride or someone with some patience you can put this sash together in about 15 minutes. I bought 1 yard of it which was more than enough. I plan on using the left overs for my girls boquets and maybe a braclet. 🙂 I also bought some tulle to connect it to so it blends in with the lace.
Here is the link for the sash!
What do you think? ShineTrim is the way to go in my opinion if you are on a budget.

Good find! I’ve decided to make my own sash, too. While I love the blinged out ones on Etsy, I just can’t pull the trigger and pay so much for something that I can put together myself for 60 bucks.
This is a great link! I purchased a gold sash on ebay this week; when it arrives, I’ll be selecting the trim or rhinestone embellishment to go with it. I’m still trying to cull down my choices, and now this shinetrim site is giving me even more ideas!

60 bucks? That’s awesome!! I am waiting for my BMs to come over and see the sash so they can tell me if it goes good with my dress or not. I really like it – but feel it might be a little too detailed for my dress. It doesnt look too crazy in the pics but it is sooo blingy

Yeah – I found a satin sash for $10, and the rhinestones/embellishments I’ve been eyeing are between $25 and $45. I just need to pick one!
For what it’s worth, I like the sash! Although I know what you mean about things being too blingy in person. I learned that lesson with a pair of shoes. Lol!
