I would recommend you call other shops in your area and see if any are open to selling you a sample off the floor. We do at the shop I work at, even if it is a brand new dress we will still sell you the sample if you do not have time to order. Look at sample in your size or slightly bigger that you could size down.

Also see if anyone in your area carries a brand called DaVinci Bridal, they offer an amazing 1 week rush production (you can usually get a dress in a 2-3 weeks when all is said and done).

You might want to look into BHLDN or the sample salesat Davids Bridal.  The new dresses are coming into the salons now so maybe you could get a sample.  Good luck and I hope everything works out for you.

You can check pre-owned wedding dresses site and see if that dress or something close to it is being sold. I’m selling my maggie dress but it’s in light gold and very blingy lol but maybe there’s another dress out there close to your current dress that will work

annalise9:  wow so sorry that happened to you. At this point would call all salons and ask what they have in stock in your size and look at preowned dresses online that can be sent right away or more safe for preowned locally.

I would be furious. Glad they at least refunded you the deposit but I feel like they owe you more for the stress inconvenience and possible extra rush fees to cover something else now. Unbelievable!

Agree with other suggestions of seeing if any other salons in the area have samples in your size that you could buy ‘off the rack.’ Also second checking for a used dress in your size already — should be available immediately, and you might find a deal. preownedweddingdresses.com is reputable. You could also try the sale/in-stock section of bestbridalprices.com. It is the online arm of a brick and mortar store that has dresses ready to ship in many sizes (canceled orders after brides changed their minds, I think).

Good luck and stay positive!

OMG!  I feel horrible for you!  Your dress was so beautiful!  I’m so glad you got your money back, at least.  I hope you are planning on writing the nastiest online review of them ever because seriously if it were me, I would have lost it.  I do have a Maggie Sottero Marianne in ivory over blush in your size that I am selling.  It’s brand-new, unaltered.  I tried it on once when it came in, but I had a change of heart and went with a different style of dress.  I’m also including the veil that I bought with it to anyone who buys it. If you have any interest, let me know.

Good luck in your search for a new dress and I’m so sorry this happened to you. ๐Ÿ™
