lovemesomelace: The Marianne is gorgeous! I think I’m looking for a little less of a sweetheart neckline though, I’m kind of self-conscious about my chest. If I change my mind I will let you know.
Yes, there will be a scathing online review as soon as my wedding is over. They have overwhelmingly excellent reviews everywhere I looked, so I just don’t get how they could screw up so badly.

annalise9: seconding what llussier said go to some shops in the area and ask to try on dresses in your size. The dress I ended up buying was a floor sample, and part of the reason I fell in love with it was because it fit me like it was made for me. I bought it back in January and it’s just been sitting at the shop since then. I went in to have try it on again last week and it only needs to be taken up a little in the shoulder and to be hemmed. Really minor alterations. I didn’t expect it to happen, but I think that might be the best way to find a dress you love. Good luck!

annalise9: UGH! It just makes me sick that they thought they could get away with that. I mean, honestly, how did they think you wouldn’t completely notice?! It makes me wonder how many other stunts like this they have pulled.
Okay, definitely let me know if you change your mind. Not trying to sway you, but I have seen pictures of girls who had the sweetheart altered so it came closer together to make it more modest, if that helps.

annalise9: I second finding an off the rack gown so there’s no ordering mix up with a tight deadline. My store has 500+ new and samples off the rack so see if you like any. Link to my site is on my profile. Good luck!

gimmickgirl: Since I haven’t made much progress with my online search (wayyyy too many pretty dresses, I am having a hard time focusing on what I want) I have a list of shops to call tomorrow about buying a sample. I guess I’m just not as optimistic about that because most of the samples that I have tried on were too small.
