I would not suggest attempting to having a bridal shower in an environment that is similar to a Dave & Busters, because a shower, with its focus on opening and “oohing” and “ahhing” over gifts is not really at all conducive to that type of environment.  Also, it would be very difficult to keep track of your gifts so that someone who is not part of your group isn’t tempted to walk away with some of them.

I’m guessing this may not be your idea of fun, but what about a bridal shower tea or luncheon at a restaurant at a beautiful hotel?

I’ll be throwing one of my friends’ bridal shower at a bowling alley. As long as you can get a room or private area, youll be fine. have fun with it! Other ideas: go carts, paint ball, painting class (or any type of creative class for that matter)… Good luck!

I’m not sure how many people would be attending, but I recently went to a shower held at the hostess’ home.

My cousin (MOH) is throwing mine at her house. Is that an option for you? I gave her a guest list of 37 to invite. We are thinking at least 30 of those will show.

Mine was suppose to be at a belly dancing studio.  The first hour was going to be a belly dance class and second hour opening presents.   It was suppose to be a surprise to my Bridesmaid or Best Man and Out of Town guest.  All my Bridesmaid or Best Man were Out of Town so we were going to do it the day before the wedding.  All my Bridesmaid or Best Man would’ve had to do was get a cake.  I didn’t really want a bridal shower just a day for us to hang and have fun since I hadn’t seen them in a while but they wanted me to have one.   We were just going to have cake, punch and wine because the rehearsal dinner would’ve been 3 hours later.   All this fell apart because the studio closed down.
