After just getting married last year I am so excited to keep the whole wedding train running. I am in two weddings in 2014 and I am so excited especially since its just about go time! Its definitely hard to let go of your “well if I was you I would….” especially when things are still so fresh in your head. But I am having a lot of fun doing things that I wouldn’t usually be doing for myself (ie shabby chic/vintage type theme for both weddings when my wedding was more elegant/hollywood glam)
Today a bunch of the girls are coming over for an up-cycled bridal shower centerpiece. As with many bridal parties we have a lot of budgets to accomidate so we tried to do a centerpiece that not only looks good but was also very cost effective.
We just basically spray painted wine bottle, beer bottles, juice bottles, snapple bottles any kind of anything that I found that was glass….some actually look really nice!
what do you think?

we are also planning to hopefully be able to get more flowers – that was just the left over stuff from my valentines roses… we would do more like wildflower look w some baby breath and greens in each vase with maybe some of the short stockier ones have daisys or carnations in our colors (teal)
we will also have a bunch of votive surrounding it too but I don’t have them at my house

I really like these! Good thing you had friends helping, looks like it would have taken a while with one person. I think all of those shiny bits that you added will really stand out with some votive candles nearby =)

@littlemisshostess: Are those something the bride wants? I’m confused about what the centerpieces are for and if they are supposed to go together.

they are for the bridal shower – and they are more coordinating than matching – sort of that homemade sort of look
we will have like 4 or so different bottles in the center of each table with candles, a lace doily and a little woven mat thing
the whole thing (for 6 tables) cost about $70 + about $100-150 for flowers day of
