It’s cute! I’d say no leggings, a nice cardigan and it’ll be perfect!

cwedding14:  Really cute with the cardigan and belt! I think that’s a great outfit! I’m a knee-length or longer kind of woman, but there is no reason you can’t wear an above the knee dress to your shower if you feel comfortable in it (as long as you can’t see your underwear when sitting down, lol)

Is that a leg tattoo? Could that be where your grandma’s objection really was coming from? It’s “too short” for her in that it exposes your tattoo?

Just to note, I just had my shower and wore a knee length white dress.  It made the whole “present opening” thing a lot harder.

They sat me a chair in front of everyone, so I was very conscious of keeping my legs crossed and knees together, which left me with very little “lap” for presents.  I felt like every time I opened something, it was a balancing act.  I kind of wished I wore patterned tights or something so I wasn’t constantly scared of flashing people.

That being said, you have great legs!  Definitely don’t hide them under a bigger skirt!

WeddingBecks:  I was going to suggest the same thing…a jacket like cardigan or jean jacket would make it look so great and more conservative for Grandma. πŸ˜‰

Honestly, after looking at the latest picture it does look too short. When you sit down it’s going to get even shorter…I think a pair of black tights (not leggings) that aren’t fully opaque would help to make it look a little less short and a little more appropriate.
