@teede78: For my bridal shower my Maid/Matron of Honor did miniature paper bags that were like a brown paper bag with green polka dots and inside were a few hersheys kisses and a little candle (either yellow or green since those were our colors) and then the candle had a sticker that said “Clares Bridal Shower – May 22, 2010” it was really cute and I think everyone really liked it!

I  did picture frames that had a picture of them with the bride in the frame. They were a pretty big hit! I did need some help from the bride’s mom to get pictures for some of them but the guests were very happy and the bride was as well.

My hostesses gave antique hankies to each guest.  They hankies were folded into a dress that wrapped around a paper cutout of a doll.

We had a candy buffet that was a huge hit! It also made for pretty decor. We also had prizes for the games that were played.

I went to one where they put names as the place cards in picture frames that were little, heart shaped, and silver, and this was given as the favor.

For one daughter’s shower we gave a set of 4 bamboo coasters as she was having a beach wedding. Sorry…I only have a picture of them wrapped in handmade paper on this computer.

For the other daughter’s shower we had lots of different bath products..large bottles of lotions, soaps, loofahs, sugar scrubs….set up in a box so people could take what they wanted.

Everyone seemed to love them and some even asked to take any leftovers.

I wish I had a picture of the favors from the bridal shower my sister and mother threw for me. They were amazing. They found nice, but cheap (about $1.50 each) white porcelain tea cups. In each tea cup they put a couple of tea bags of various flavors and tied bright ribbons on the handle with a little note that said “Drink Me”. On the saucer of the tea cup were heart shaped cookies with the first letter of my soon to be last name in a cellophane bag that was tied with ribbon and a note that said “Eat Me”.  Can you tell I had an Alice in Wonderland inspired tea party shower?

For my friend’s wedding the shower favors were Starbucks gift cards and a small frame with their engagement picture.  I really like the Starbucks gift card!

For my friend’s shower, I was in charge of favors and I used the anti-bacterial soap from Bath & Body works.  Wrapped up in tulle, it looks really cute.  Plus it’s a nice little “luxury” product that not everyone will treat themselves to.  It was also the favor at my shower last month.
