I AM LOOKING FOR SOME ADVICE. MY FIANCE HAS A WHOLE BUNCH OF BEST FRIENDS WITH WIVES AND GIRLFRIENDS. ONE GIRL IS GETTING MARRIED RIGHT AROUND THE TIME I AM AND IS NOT INVITING ME TO HER SHOWER WHICH IS OUT OF STATE. ANOTHER GIRL GOT MARRIED LAST YEAR AND DID NOT INVITE ME TO HER SHOWER.
THESE GIRLS ARE NOT REALLY MY FRIENDS THEY ARE SIGNIFIGANT OTHERS OF HIS…. BUT I DO REALIZE THEY WILL BE IN MY LIFE FOREVER. SOOOOO…..AS A KIND GESTURE DO I INVITE THEY ALL TO MY SHOWER, NONE OF THEM, OR A FEW AND NOT THE ONES WHO DID NOT INVITE ME TO THEIRS.

I’m in somewhat the same situation, but some of them have become my friends.
I plan on inviting the wives/gf’s of the groomsmen and that’s it. When the others got married, I was only invited when my Fiance was a groomsmen.
It’s really your decision.

I have a similar situation…all of my fiance’s best friends are married. I’ve met all the wives, but I’m not friends with all of them. I started by asking my fiance what he thought. If he said his friends would feel weird or offended if their wives weren’t invited to the shower then I would have invited them all. He said it was up to me. So, I’m inviting the girls that I’m friends with because I would think it was weird if I got invited to a shower if I’ve never hung out with the bride. In the end, I think the best answer is do what you’re most comfortable with.
