My Maid/Matron of Honor and two of my bridesmaids are hosting a local shower for me in a few weeks. Most of the guests live in DC and/or will be coming to DC to visit for the shower. My Maid/Matron of Honor has a house an hour drive away and some of my friends are saying they can’t come to the shower because the two hour roundtrip interferes with other plans/or don’t have a car to get there.
I understand wanting not to spend money on a rented location (of course! I don’t want money to be difficult!), but my other bridesmaid lives closer and people can easily get to her house. My Maid/Matron of Honor won’t budge on the location regardless of how many guests bow out because of it. Am I wrong to say something?
I have no and don’t want any say in the actual shower, just want the location to be flexible so more people are able to attend.
