My bridal shower was yesterday and it was fantastic! My ladies really outdid themselves and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time, including me! It was at a restaurant inside a local mall. We munched on hors d’oeuvres, cookies, and cake. We mingled, played games, and opened presents. It really was the best day ever.
We played He Said/She Said (found on this website http://bridalmusings.com/2013/03/top-10-bridal-shower-games-hen-do-activities/) where my BMs collected quotes from my fiance and I and guests guessed who said what. We used the variation with mustaches and bows on sticks that guests held up in the air to make their choice. Most correct won a prize!
We also played bridal shower gift bingo! We used the templates from http://bridalmusings.com/2013/03/top-10-bridal-shower-games-hen-do-activities/ and guests filled in what items they thought I might receive. 5 in a row wins a prize 🙂
My sister had guests write down their best piece of marriage advice as well as a fun date night idea. I can’t wait to read these! We are waiting to read them until date night with a nice bottle of wine 🙂
Now onto the pictures!
and this gem because of my face

Sounds like a blast. I’m glad it went off well for you. I really like the fun date night advice, I’d be really curious to see what people wrote. I also love your dress, and even with the pulling of the face, you still look gorgeous!

erw4338: Thanks so much!! It wsa a blast! I will have to post some of the most common or interesting pieces of advice and date night ideas on here when we read them 🙂 I can’t wait to see them! I don’t think people wrote their name on them though so I probably won’t know who said what unless I recognize the hand writing (and some of them I know I will).
DaniDev143: I know, right?! Well, it was a little awkward because my soon to be niece (in-law) was sitting right in the front of the room watching as I opened it and clearly I didn’t hide my awkward feeling well!
