Mine was on Saturday too and I wrote them out yesterday and will send them today.

My situation is a little odd tho because I moved my wedding date up so my shower was awkwardly close to the wedding date.

I sent mine out the week after the shower.  I agree- the sooner the better! When it comes to early wedding gifts, I’ve done the same thing, sent each out a day or two after receiving the gift.  For gifts that we receive at the wedding, I’ll write Thank You notes when we get back from our honeymoon.

My shower was Saturday also and I’m halfway done with mine.  I have another shower on the 20th and my goal was to have them completely done and in the mail by my next shower. So far so good 🙂

I had my shower a few weeks ago and I sent them out within a week and a half. I had a lot of thank yous to do (a little over 70) but I am a teacher on summer break so I figured if I had the time to finish them, people appreciate getting one sooner rather than later. Plus, I was worried if I put them off at all, I would keep procrastinating…better to just do them right away than to leave it as a lingering chore.

I sent mine 2 days later as well… I think you are fine to do that.

I sent mine out the following week. I don’t see the point in waiting, there’s more of a chance of something coming up and delaying them further.

I had mine done by the Wednesday/Thursday after my Sunday shower.

I sent mine out within a week of the shower.  My grandma (who hosted the shower) got a bunch of calls from guests saying how nice it was to recieve a Thank You so quickly. I am sure your guests will feel the same and if you have the time, why procrastinate?

I recently attended a shower and received a thank you about 3 or 4 days later. I don’t see anything wrong with getting them out right away!

We received our first shower gift last week and I sent a thank you card within two days of receiving it. The shower is this Saturday so my goal will be to mail all my thank you’s by mid-week at the latest.

I am still working on mine now.  My shower was 2 weeks ago but I have been working on them ever since it has just been hard because I was in my cousins wedding last weekend.

I feel behind though and wish I had gotten them out faster.

Is it okay to send out thank yous as you go?  Or better to mail them all at once?

My personal/lingerie shower was on a Saturday and I had all the TY’s mailed out that Monday. Our couple’s shower was also on a Saturday and it took me a little longer to do those since we had invited way more people but I think I still got them in the mail that Thursday or Friday.

I sent a shower gift in June for a wedding that was a month later and I thought it was weird to not receive a Thank You note before the wedding. I think it’s especially weird that we have since received a Thank You note for the wedding gift, but not for the shower gift. Always send thank you notes!!! (And I know the gift arrived at the shower because I personally handed it to one of the hostesses!)

I sent mine out the soonest business day after the shower (1-2 days!) too for all four of my showers and got great comments on how quickly they were received -your timing is fine 🙂

….I am chomping at the bit waiting to do wedding ones, waiting on “the thank-you pic” from the photographer, and will then get going!

Good work!
