Mine were around 2 months before – October 23rd and November 6th and we got married 12/31.

I got engaged in September 2011 and am getting married in March 2012.

I am originally from Sacramento but live three hours away from there, so my mom and Maid/Matron of Honor are having a hometown bridal showed in mid Februaru, and a BM/Best friend is throwing me one in early February.  I would suggest it to your mom or Maid/Matron of Honor, just ask, “Hey, have you thought about if we should have a bridal shower?”

I got lucky, my Maid/Matron of Honor approached me and asked how she can help and if she should plan a showed…made it easy!

I live out of state so the only time mine COULD be is 2 months out from the wedding….but I’m hoping it never happens! My FMIL/FSIL want to do one despite my wishes, but when I told them no games I think it finally made them reconsider lol…
