If you had a bridal shower thrown for you (or multiple showers), how many guests were in attendance? Just curious what the norm is. Feel free to share your wedding guest list vs. guest list for the bridal shower (or showers) if you’d like.
I’ll start, I’m having a destination wedding, with 80 people invited and about 32 people actually attending. My family is throwing a shower for me with about 20 guests and my bridal party is throwing a smaller shower with about 15 ladies invited (mostly close friends).

jlc3: we had 167 people attend the wedding. My bridal shower was about 30 to 40 women. These were the women i was closest with. Aunts, cousins, my girlfriends/bridesmaids, mom andnsister of course. Not every woman that was invited to the wedding was invited to the shower.

We invited 50 people to the wedding and about 18-20 ladies at the shower. It was the perfect size and amazing. We didn’t play games. Intead we did a High Tea at a French Bistro and just socialized and ate.

We are having a small wedding 80/90, my bridesmaids were gracious enough to throw me a shower, all the female wedding guests were invited.

jlc3: There were 25 women invited to my bridal shower and I think 20 came. I hate being the center of attention so that was more than fine with me!

I had 200 guests attend the wedding and around 65 women attend the shower…it was definitely a bit overwhelming!

jlc3: Our guest list is about 250 people. My girl asked if I wanted to have one. I told them it was up to them, but to keep the guest list at no more than 40 ladies.

About 125 at wedding, around 35 at shower thrown by my Maid/Matron of Honor and BMs. I expected far fewer people given the fact that not many of us lived n he area anymore, but a lot of out-of-state family members and friends drove, took trains and flew just to be there for an afternoon which was such a wonderful surprise!
