@MissSlipper:  I think they’re fun. Why don’t you go see the things you don’t have? For instance, I went to one last February. I already had photographers and a DJ picked out, so I skimmed over those booths and went for catering (something I didn’t have)

Also, coupons are the bees knees 🙂

Normally I’d say go, but I understand remorse as I’ve had a bit myself. If you don’t want to go, don’t need to go, and had no plans on going, don’t go!

I went to one in the beginning, where my bff and I had fun, and I actually found my photog. It was at a venue that I considered, so I got to check out the space. I later went to one at the venue I did pick after a bunch of things were booked, but I brought our moms and we were able to taste a bunch of food for our wedding.

I went to one 8 hours away from the city I’m getting married in so couldn’t use any of the vendors there, but I was actually surprised at how productive it was. I found my earrings (which I had been looking for FOREVER), and the place I’m having my alterations done (my dress is DB and I’ve heard awful things about the alterations dept at my local store). Plus, I don’t have my veil yet but said alterations place had a promo running JUST for the bridal show that included a free veil if your alterations added up to so much. We also found the groom/smen attire. So, yes, I would go. Just be prepared for lots of e-mails and a few phone calls afterward.
