do it! It’ll be super cute.

I’m 5’3 also, and usually wear 4 in+ heels. I didn’t really want to stand up there looking teeny next to my Fiance (who isn’t even that tall). My shoes are 4 in, which was a good compromise. Do what you’ll be most comfortable and bride-y in.

I’ve always wondered when brides comment that they changed into flats or cute sneaks for the reception! Do they pin the hem? I like the idea of two pairs of shoes, but definitely don’t want to be tripping all over my dress! (or making my Maid/Matron of Honor and Bridesmaid or Best Man stab themselves after they bustle me by pinning my entire hem up a few inches! Laughing

I was thinking of doing this too! Some hot pink converse, since I wear my converse every day… well except in the winter when there’s 3 feet of snow lol. They’ve been my “signature” since I was 14. The only thing that I’m hestitant about is the fact that I’m 5’2 and my fiance is 6’1 and the height difference might look weird in pictures (not to mention all of my bridesmaids are taller than me)… but then I think well, I’m this height in real life, why fake it for the sake of pictures? 🙂 If you do decide to go the converse route, please post pictures!

Wear both!!

I am wearing heels to my wedding but will be changing into white chuck taylors with royal blue ribbon laces for the reception. All the guys are wearing black chucks. 🙂

I wanted flats, just due to the fact that I can’t walk in heels.  I considered sneakers, but I wanted something that was me.  I ended up going slightly different with theses in white with my colours in the bows…I really like them.  I find them to be a bit more girly then reg. sneakers but still comfy.
