This is actually not the first time a bride has done something like this. How low of a person do you have to be to do this??

Somehow the craziest part is that she also lied to her Fiance

I just heard about this on the radio this morning. What a horrible thing to do. Karma will come back around. I can’t believe her husband went back to her. Wow, just wow.

Obviously the meaning of a wedding was misunderstood in her mind. A wedding prepares you for the years ahead with your future husband-to-be. That one “day” of bliss turned into a “day” of hell, and I hope others will re-think faking terminal illnesses (or whatever they want to fake) to receive money from strangers to make their wedding day “super special”. GREEDY is the word that comes to my mind….

I was just about to post this. I find it hard to believe that the husband didn’t know about the scheme earlier. If I had been diagnosed with cancer when we were dating, Darling Husband would have been at every single doctor’s appointment with me. Someone who gets a cancer diagnosis doesn’t just go on living their lives as if nothing happened. There are tests after tests. It’s an extremely grueling process. I call bullshit on his defense.

Regardless, I hope she gets the max sentence for every count against her AND is forced to pay restitution plus interest to everyone she schemed. Defrauding good people who want to help you is just about as low as you can get. People like her are the reason that others are weary to donate to charities. Too many dishonest scumbags just trying to get something for nothing.
