If you are open to having your ceremony and reception in different locations I would suggest talking to Parks and Recreation, getting a permit for one of NYC’s parks. Then heading to a restaurant for dinner.Check with one of your favorite restaurants in your neighborhood. Many will cut you a deal especially if you are giving them work during a slow day/time of the week for them.

Another option is going with a rooftop restaurant. That will take care of your outdoor need and leave you with less hassle. If everything is done at the restaurant, you have less vendors to deal with in theory. Since you sound like a busy lady, this might be the better option.
