@mayflowerbride13:  What is your goal in using silk for the girls? If its cost, it can actually be muuuch more expensive.

I don’t think need to be matchy matchy. But I think it should be cohessive, because I think silk flowers and real flowers look different in texture and it will stand out more if you have real and they have silk.

@mayflowerbride13:  hahahaha ok understandable! Let use them…

I think you have plenty of time!

(If you want something literal) Take the flowers and get some high gloss red paint. Put the paint on in a styrofoam dish. Dip the top of the roses in the paint and stick them in a styrofoam block or box or whatever else is around to let them drip and dry.

In all honesty, I’m not a fan of the brooch bouquets. I was showing coworkers some pics of my brothers wedding and they didn’t like them.

Although we did have the one stem rose thing with a feather attached to them. You could do the ‘painted’ roses thing with fewer stems (1-3 roses) and wrap a paint brush into it.

Or if you do feel really tight on time and want to go for a florist, these would be pretty great for your theme.

you dont have to be matchy – my girls had orange and white (purple dresses) i had purple and orange flowers with my white dress– kinda matchy . i like the paintbrush with 3 roses idea.. its out of the box but if you do it it could be really cute

@mayflowerbride13:  🙂 Another one, if you have a flower girl, you can make her flower arrangement in a teapot to carry instead of a bouquet!

@mayflowerbride13:  They are tiger roses.

This is what I’m thinking of in my head. I have no pictures of this idea haha but I’m game for trying it at home before you destroy your roses. I have just about all the stuff to do it. This is what we had for SIL’s wedding that I’m thinking of

@mayflowerbride13: Glad I could help! Question, what does the BM dresses looks like? Might be easier to picture a theme if we at least know the colour.

@mayflowerbride13:  It’d take me 5 minutes! I swear haha I was voted ‘most likely to replace martha while in prison’ in high school. I love this stuff!
