Hi my mother made my bridesmaids bouquets she hasn’t finished them yet. The colours look more brighter in real life. Would it look weird if I got a bouquet with fresh flowers and my bridesmaids have artificial flowers? My mother wants me to have a fresh bouquet but she made my bridesmaids bouquets as otherwise it was $110 a bouquet each for them with fresh flowers.

I don’t think it’s weird. As long as the colors match (or are at least very close) I think you’ll look as great in pictures…nobody ever look THAT closely at bridesmaids’ flowers anyway! Save the money for something more important 🙂

not going to lie – to me it would be obvious – i think real flowers would make the others stand out even more as fake. in saying that though, who cares. if you like what you have then go ahead and use them and save the money for something fun – like a minihorse, or strawberry daquiris with tiny umbrellas <3 heaven

$110 per bouquet for the bridesmaids seems WAY expensive, especially if their bouqets are just roses and greens. Perhaps you need to price out better flower shops. The shop I worked at charged $635 for a bridal package and that included the bride, bridesmaids, bouts, corsages for moms and a head table centrepiece. Your florist is ripping you off.
I think its going to look super obvious that they’ve got fake flowers when you have real ones. But if you’re ok with the look, go for it. I’d get some flowers at a local store and do a quick mock up so you can see how they look side by side.
