I’m trying to figure out music for my reception and am stuck on the entrance music. Do people have everyone enter to the same song or do people choose a different song for the bridal party than for the bride and groom?

We are using 1 song, Timber by Kesha and Pitbull

We played The Best is Yet to Come, Frank Sinatra. Honestly, don’t overthink it. I’m not sure anyone eever really hears over applause and cheering.

When I was a bridesmaid, we each chose our own entrance song and they played a short 10-20 second clip. We chose Black Eyed Peas – I got a feeling

Fiance and I are playing a bit of a joke on our bridal party. We’re having them walk in to “I’m Too Sexy.” We’re not telling them ;o)
I think ours is “Evacuate the Dance Floor.”

- Wedding: September 2017 - Poppy Ridge Golf Course
hillputaringonit : Awesome song
jessica715 : Haven’t considered reception entrance songs. Hoping we can quietly slip in to whatever the DJ is playing at the time. 😄 But Fiance might want this so following for ideas.

jessica715 : We walked in to the same song as our bridal party. We chose The Rose by Bette Midler.

The bridal party is gonna walk into The Makings of You by Curtis Mayfield and then transition to a very different song (I Look Good by Chalie Boy) for me and FH. I think it will be fun. 😂

We all walked into the same song “Star Wars Theme” by John Williams… most the songs from the wedding were Star Wars because I wanted classical music.

We walked in to the same song as our bridal party – “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. Our band played it instrumental, so our MC didn’t have to try and shout over the lyrics lol.

for my wedding, my husband and i picked our entrance song which was “Nonsense by Madeon” – an upbeat song.
for our bridal party – for each partner, we asked them to pick their own entrance songs.
hope that helps 🙂

We didn’t do an entrance. They’re just not “our thing.” Instead we just walked into the ballroom with our guests, from the cocktail hour room.
We and our bridal party already entered to a church full of people, with our ceremony processional. That was enough.
