Hey Bees! Ineed some help here… I am trying to decide on bridemaid dresses to see if they will all go together. I will be sending each bridesmaid about 3-4 dresses in one color to choose from. I have six bridesmaids so 2 will get black, 2 will get nude, etc. These dresses aren’t final or anything but just samples. Anyways, what I wanted to see was if these all go together color wise? Is it too much having 3 colors? I like it but I’m not sure how it will look all together… My wedding is pretty non traditional so I’m not sure if that makes a difference…. thanks bees!

I like the colors together, but most of those sample dresses look too short for a wedding, at least on those models.

@sailor: Yea don’t worry about the length, they look really short cause they’re on 6 ft tall models π I hate how they make all dresses look like mini skirts lol. I have ordered from the website before and they’re usually just above the knee. Also, if one of the bridesmaids feels too uncomfortable then they can opt for a longer dress or tights.

@sailor: I agree. I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable showing that much leg in a wedding…

ATTENTION: Just want everyone to see the length these dresses will be….

They will end up being just above the knee like the picture… All my bridesmaids are comfortable with this but if they werent they would be allowed to pick a longer dress…. also the dresses above aren’t final just trying to put together ideas.
Just want to make sure everyone knows π Not trying to be rude at all! Thanks!

I think two colors could be a tad more cohesive, but three could work as well.

I like black and purple together, but I think the nude is not my style, I wouldn’t enjoy wearing it at a wedding. But that’s just me.

I love all the colors and think they are cohesive! The nude is my favorite!! What are the overall colors for the wedding?

@Bride24: Hey I just pinned that picture on pinterest so here’s the link http://pinterest.com/pin/109679601/ but I’m not sure the website… sometimes pinterest will have the original link!
@PDXlove: Thanks!
@Miss. Snowball: I know I would hate to wear nude as well… it’s not my color at all lol. But the bridesmaids I was thinking of having wear the nude/pink color are both super tiny and love the nude dresses. Do you like the colors together even though you wouldn’t want to wear nude?
@chaeinlove: Thanks π
@Breathless: Nope doesn’t sound harsh at all π I’m totally ok with them wearing nude and the two that would wear it like it as well. I never thought about them standing next to me but that makes sense! My Maid/Matron of Honor will be wearing the black though.
@misschickpea: Thank you!! Those are the colors for the wedding and then I will also have a lot of plated silver decor. Like candle holders and vases and stuff!
